Hey Gardeners! 🌱
September is here, but your garden doesn’t have to be finished.
In Georgia and similar growing zones, early fall is a beautiful opportunity to transition from summer crops into cool-season gardening.
Think leafy greens, radishes, carrots, herbs and other crops that enjoy those cooler fall temperatures.
Before planting, give your soil a little attention. Remove exhausted plants, add compost or organic matter where needed, and check your soil moisture before putting new seeds or transplants into the ground.
And remember: gardening isn’t about having acres of land.
A raised bed, patio container or sunny corner can become your garden.
That’s why I keep saying:
It’s Never Too Late to Plant. 🌱
From Our Garden. To Your Kitchen Table.
